# 🏗️ Mortar Utility Token (MRTR)

The Mortar token (MRTR) is the native utility token of the BricklayerDAO ecosystem. MRTR, with a fixed supply of 1 billion, sits at the foundation of our platform; serving as means of payment, access, governance & reward. It is the first of series of token offerings which will be made available to our users.
