# Tokenomics

Unlock Mortar (MRTR), there is no predestined timeframe for all of the supply of Brick (BRCK) to be unlocked & circulating; though there is prerequisite relationship between BRCK released from the kiln to the vesting unlock within the initial team allocations.

There are four pools of BRCK;

* **Public Pool**
  * Making up 85.5% of the total supply, 855,000 tokens will be able to purchased directly from the Kiln.
* **Presale Pool**
  * Comprising 9% of the total supply, 90,000 tokens will be allocated to a private tiered sale, with enforced vesting periods following ICO.
* **Team Pool**
  * Accounting for 3% of the total supply, 30,000 tokens will be used for rewarding active contractors to Bricklayer, subject to specific vesting requiring public purchases.
* **Founders Pool**
  * The final 2.5% of the total supply, 25,000 tokens will be allocated for to initial Founder members of Bricklayer, subject to specific vesting requiring public purchases.

### BRCK Inflation <a href="#brck-inflation" id="brck-inflation"></a>

There are two ways to define the inflation of $BRCK. The first being that there is no true inflation over a longer time-preference, as there only every going to be 1 million total. Along that path, short-term inflation will be a subject to interest in the token i.e. Only once it has left the Kiln (Treasury) will it be counted as actively in circulation. Given that any predetermined inflation rate cannot be justified, a lagged calculation will be gathered from each prior quarter as a KPI for $BRCK.
