To raise initial capital to grow the platform, the pre-sale was allocated 5% of the total token supply. These tokens are represented 1:1 by psMRTR (Presale Mortar).

A user who invests during the presale will receive the corresponding amount in psMRTR, which they hold until MRTR is airdropped to their wallet & their corresponding psMRTR would be burnt on launch & according to appropriate vesting schedules.

#### Tiers <a href="#tiers" id="tiers"></a>

To incentivise engagement & reward early supporters of the project, a tiered system is applied as follows:

* **Tier I**
  * 0 - 10,000,000 MRTR.
  * Price of $0.10 USD
  * Live until 25th December, with remaining Tier I MRTR allocated to be burnt.
* **Tier II**
  * 10,000,000 ≥ 20,000,000 MRTR.
  * Price of $0.15 USD
* **Tier III**
  * 20,000,000 ≥ 50,000,000 MRTR
  * Price of $0.20 USD

This structured presale aims to raise a complete total of $8,500,000 USD; given a sell out of 50,000,000 MRTR across the three tiers.

All unallocated MRTR during this presale will not be returned to the supply, but instead will be burnt & permanent removed from supply. This was done to optimise the supply dynamics of MRTR, for the benefit of holders.

Currently, Tier I finished with 4,141,149.56 MRTR sold & the remaining 5,858,850.44 MRTR scheduled to be burnt.

#### Vesting <a href="#vesting" id="vesting"></a>

To encourage long term holding of our governance token, vesting was applied to each of the tiers as follows:

* **Tier I**
  * 1/5 released each month
* **Tier II**
  * 1/4 released each month
* **Tier III**
  * 1/3 released each month
